8832 I'm a proponent of evolution. More of an ethicist myself, but I love what science I know. It's perhaps a little off topic, but I thought I'd state for the record that the theist has the job of grounding value no easier than the atheist. In fact, it tends to be harder, because the options list is sparse compared to the naturalist or non-naturalist. One such example is that Divine Command Theory and Theological Voluntarism have to answer charges of arbitrariness (due to grounding value in the will or commands of a subject) that other forms of moral realism do not.

It's a favourite tactic of creationists like William Lane Craig to make arguments from morality, but they're fallacious and open to as many, if not more, attacks from moral skepticism as any other view.
