I finished both The Correspondent and The Martha's Vineyard Beach and Book Club and thought they were very good stories. I've just started Daughters of Olympus.
Finally reviewed The Storm.
- my review of The StormI'm hoping to finish The Correspondent today and I'm about 2/3 through The Martha's Vineyard Beach and Book Club. I'm enjoying them both, but looking forward to moving on and wrapping up a couple of challenges I'm working on.
For those that are interested, the Goodreads Choice Awards winners were announced. You can see the winners here: https://www.goodreads.com/choiceaward...
I actually have a couple of trees. I have a small (3 feet) tabletop white tree with blue ornaments that I put up in my library. I love that little tree and it is up already because I unpacked it first. My regular full sized tree is not up yet. I also have a ceramic tree that is maybe 2 feet tall or a little under. My mom made it many years ago. I put that out every year too, but it is still in a box right now.
I always wait until after Thanksgiving too. We are reorganizing our attic this week and putting up shelves. So, I am sorting through all of my decorations this week and will be putting the tree up this coming weekend.
lol, Jenny! Yes, it is! :) Congrats, Jojo! That's wonderful. Definitely something to be proud of. I hope he had an amazing time.
I really want to read this one, but wasn't able to get to it in October. Looks like I wasn't the only one. I hope to get to it eventually.
I am definitely in the minority on this one. I enjoyed it, but I didn't love it. I thought it was good, but not great. I can see why people like it. I just don't really get the incredible amount of hype around it.
I just finished While It Was Snowing. It was cute, but the interfering family took away from the story for me. 3.5★
- my While It Was Snowing review
I just finished ’Salem’s Lot today. It was strange to read something set in the 1970s without it being written as historical fiction. Some of the things people would say or do back then would be totally unacceptable now. It makes you want to cringe. I am now finishing the end of The Women on Platform Two, then starting While It Was Snowing. I'm all around the place with genres today!
I finished Imposter Syndrome
and thought it was another great story in the series. My review is here: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...I am now reading ’Salem’s Lot.
I finished And to All a Good Bite. It wasn't my favorite in the series, but it was still fun.my And to All a Good Bite review
I finished Brigands & Breadknives. I thought it was good, but I didn't love it. I may be in the minority on this one. 3★
- my Brigands & Breadknives review
I finished Too Old for This. I thought it was good, but not a favorite. I also read What Have You Done?. There were a few possible suspects, but I guessed the killer pretty early on. It was still a good and quick read.
I'm almost done with The Women on Platform Two. I am loving it, but put it aside for a team challenge. I can't wait to finish it though.
I am still reading Imposter Syndrome. It is interesting, but I having had much Kindle time lately.
I also just started Brigands & Breadknives. I am about 20% in now.
I have the same, Tammy. I haven't put out any decorations indoors though, just a couple mums, pumpkins, and a scarecrow on the front porch.
Currently reading: The Women on Platform Two (almost done and it's excellent)
Too Old for This (good, but not great)
Imposter Syndrome (just started, interesting so far)
