89026 Group read starts from 23rd March 2015. Any suggestions? How about Sabha Parva. Sabha parva is one of the best portions within MB which is studded with jewels of true wisdom and of course, the Mystic Rishi Vasudeva's mysticism!

It is comparatively smaller and a page turner. Who's up for it?

PS : I can share the PDF copy of all parvas.

89026 Mahabharatha originally composed in Samskrita by Veda Vyasa was translated to English for the first time by Max Muller.

This book was again edited, word by word, by Shri Kisari Mohan Ganguly as he felt that, Muller's translation was too literal and missed the essence. This book was published by Pratap Chandra Roy.

This is the most authentic English translations available online. Please suggest more such books.

Thanks.

89026 Hi Swetha,

I am heartened to know that, you are from VA. I myself am an Advaitin.

I'll definitely go through your book. It's a little late, but welcome!
