8909 Here is one of the groups you can find on Goodreads about book challenges. http://www.goodreads.com/group/show/9...
It is essentially like setting a goal for yourself for reading such as the “50 books a year” challenge. Or you can do something like the “A-Z” author challenge and read books like this:
A: Susan Anderson
B: Judy Blume
C: Harlan Coben
D:
E: Janet Evanovich
F: Toby Forward
G: Sue Grafton
H: Ellen Hopkins
I:
J:
K: Dean Koontz
L:
M: Patricia McCormick
N: Rhonda Nelson
O: Mary Pope Osborne
P: James Patterson
Q:
R: J.D. Robb
S: Danielle Steel
T:
U:
V:
W: Kate White

I just was not sure if anyone had done one and actually felt accomplished. I am just afraid that I would get bored with it and not see it through if I started. There are actually tons of different book challenges out there and also wondered if anyone knew of any really good ones.

8909 Has anyone ever done a book challenge? If so, did you find it fun? I am just curious.
Thanks!

8909 Exactly. I can only immagine how much more stuff would be on my profile if I could put down all the books I have read. Wow. That would take a long time.

8909 The Giver by Lois Lowry
or
Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery
These two books are very special to me for many reasons. I could never choose between them for a favorite book. However, if I had to choose a favorite author, well that would be Edgar Allan Poe
