I've never done NaNoWriMo before, so I'm still debating on whether or not I plan to.

I think I get inspiration from the weirdest places. Like an old photograph of my grandparents, or a map lying on my desk. Once it was from an old instant messaging conversation added to CSI.

Friends of mine often trigger something too, using a phrase or word I find intriguing, and I'll start to write on that.


But I guess it's different for a lot of people, even if we use the same types. People take things different ways, and therefore publish many wonderful story ideas in the forms of novels.
