Jack Osborne’s father was involved in drug trafficking. After getting arrested he agrees to tell the authorities everything he knows about Alfonso Anzar his ex-boss in return for his release. Every action has its consequences. The Osborne's have been in the witness protection program for over a year switching last names and having to move from place to place.
With his trial fast approaching Alfonso search for jack and his family grows more severe. Jack has messed up once before and Is being extra careful this time. Unfortunately someone else in the family isn’t. With their lives at risk find out what happens when the Osbornes are on the run… again.
“Jacks run” is a very action packed and suspenseful book. This is a book that anyone will enjoy. It shows how to kids work together not only to save themselves but their family as well.
A scene in the story that sticks out is when Jack and Joanne come up with a scheme to get them out of the bedroom that they are being held captive in. The author does a good job showing the hardships of the witness protection program and writing a book that you don’t want to put down He uses much detail that grabs your attention and leave you wanting more.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone who likes books about danger, adventure, and books that make you wonder what will happen next. When the kids are kidnapped you never knew if they would even live or not. It is always is exciting and has no slow parts. It is a great book for anyone to read, I highly recommend it.
