Thanks for your feedback, Michelle. I am interested in making a trailer, and I have a Mac, so iMovie is probably what I'll use if I pursue this. The tricky thing is that lots of my story takes place in Colorado, and while I did travel there to do research, I myself live in coastal NC (which is also featured in the book) where there are no mountains to be seen. I guess I could drive up to Asheville and take some photos!

HI there. My name is Emily Colin, and my first novel, The Memory Thief, is due out this summer (August 21st, which I guess makes it a fall title). The Memory Thief is a blend of high-altitude mountaineering, a love story, a ghost story and a mystery--one of my friends calls it 'beach reading for smart people,' if that gives you a sense of the genre.

I do have a website, www.emilycolin.com, which is still a work in progress--I'm getting ready to launch my blog.

I haven't created a book trailer yet, but am considering it, and would love other folks' ideas.

Currently I'm hard at work revising Book #2 (it's in its 5th draft, and I haven't started rending my garments yet, which is good).
