9277 There should be one started. I did the last but cannot at this time due to limited internet access at my current location. Feel free to start a discussion topic or I can do it in a week or so.

9277 I enjoyed the book but I think I was less enthusiastic because of the long wait. I felt the same with MOBY. I was fortunate to be able to read all the others as I was ready. I admit that I did not do a reread right before reading the new books. I hope the next will come out in only a few years. I have to admit though that I am ready for it to be all wrapped up because I hate the wait.

9277 Adso makes a mild appearance in Bees so he is still padding along! Sometimes the animals in the book s are almost as important as the characters! We love the fur babies too!

9277 I didn't have a hard time getting through it at all. The hardest in the series for me was the political parts in Paris. There are always parts that keep me going though.

9277 I too love Master Raymond! I would love a spin off series about him - like the Lord John series. He is the most interestingly mysterious character in the series(IMO)

9277 I agree with almost everything said above. Divina Porter is awesome and I love the audio. I started with print version and love that too. I am more of a visual person so I can get a bit distracted by listening only. I think it is great switching from one format to another.

9277 I understand that feeling! My two favorite books in the series are #1 Outlander and #3 Voyager. I love them all though. I was fortunate to be able to read the series back to back until Echo In The Bone. Then the droughtlander started and I immediately reread the series. You will love it the second time around also and you will pick up so much you missed the first time around. DG really ties all story lines together so something read in book 1 or 2 will pop up in book 7 or 8. Enjoy!!!

9277 Welcome Anette! I know what you mean being jealous of those just starting on their Outlander journey. Though, when discussing the books with them, it is like reliving it all over.

9277 She did not give me insights but she is just getting intrigued by Historical Fiction and how different life was. She is at the infatuation stage where she would love to live in different time periods with out thinking about the lack of everyday luxuries such as baths and toilet paper. It was great discussing things with her. Whenever a parent can connect with a teen it is a plus for sure!

9277 I experienced the entire series again with my 16 year old daughter. It was awesome having Outlander conversations with her but I think we both preferred not to watch too many sex scenes together. Though we talk about everything it was a bit awkward watching.

9277 Welcome Corinna. You will Love ALL of the books and become addicted to them like the rest of us. This group is still active but not like it used to be. You will notice the buzz more when the new shows or new books come out. Most of us have read the entire series multiple times but we still love discussing everything. Feel free to post any questions or thoughts and it might get the conversation going.

9277 Anyone heard if they started filming season 6?

9277 I like to binge things and read one after another but I do remember when I was binging Outlander I would have to take a break after a couple of books and refresh my brain with a couple of shorter books in a different genre. I understand the "missing out" but when I was reading other books I felt I was missing out on Outlander. My suggestion to you is not to rush so you can get it read before the next one comes out because once you read that it will be years before the last one comes out. Also The audio book suggestion is a fantastic one. When you listen you don't need your eyes or hands so you can knit at the same time. Honestly many people prefer listening while they are doing other non verbal activities and they can get into the zone for both things.

I feel the same way with my rereads. The first time around I rushed through the parts with the other characters in order to get back to Jamie and Claire. I didn't take the time to absorb and contemplate them. The second time around I enjoy those parts much more because I don't need to rush.

9277 I had the last 2 episodes, of this season, left to watch when my 16 year old daughter became interested in Outlander. We binge watched the series together from the beginning and then the last two episodes for the first time. It was amazing to experience it again for the first time through her eyes. It opened up many discussions about life and human nature. It truly was a bonding experience for us. Teens are often resistant to "sharing" things with parents and Outlander became a catalyst for her to open up to me. I know the world is crazy right now and nobody has enjoyed quarantine, but this has been a huge positive out of the whole situation.

9277 Welcome and I hope you enjoy the group! You can pop in and comment on any thread but beware of threads for books that you have not yet read - they will contain spoilers! Likewise, as you post be careful of creating spoilers to any books that come after the book on the thread. The conversations are slow among the books these days because most of us have read them multiple times. That being said we are always eager to join in a conversation if you have a question or comment about a book. We are all obsessed about Outlander and cannot wait till the next book comes out.

Thank you for making basic inferences to figure this out - you are actually correct. Months ago when this was set up that is how the titles appeared. They were finalized for the show but I never made the changes. I was working two jobs anywhere from 60-80 hours in the week with one day off if I was lucky while taking care of my family. Call me a grump or whatever but I don't feel like changing it now because somebody is being nitpicky. I know that is petty and juvenile but mentally that is where I am at the moment.

9277 I think you can probably figure things out by the episode number. This thread was created well before the series came out and that is how things were listed at the time.
