I hope to enter some day, so a bit of clarification may be i order:

Can I enter a story that has been published through CreateSpace/Kindle/Nook/Smashwords, but not by a publishing house?

Is there a limit on when a published work can be entered? Like, a story published by CreateSpace four years ago being entered next year?

I'm Heather and I desperately hope to have my novel finished in time to enter next year...but it may be the year after...

So...question for next year: Can I enter a book that has already been self-published through Createspace, Kindle, or Smashwords?
