That’s amazing, and very true. I love that people all have different reasons for being in the science fields. I chose micro so I wouldn’t have to deal directly with people lol science has something for everybody!

Scientists get to have all the fun and play with all the cool science stuff. That’s why I chose a career in science. Microscopes rule!

I’m expecting to arrive soon, Symbiotic Planet: A New Look At Evolution by Lynn Margulis. Lynn is the amazing woman that discovered the theory of endosymbiosis of mitochondria and chloroplast into eukaryotic cells. Her theory is that these two organelles started out as prokaryotic cells which eukaryotes took in to aid in their development and I just can’t wait to read it! I’m a microbiologist, so to me, this stuff is the coolest ever.

I’m a student at university working towards my bachelors in General Biology, with a focus in Microbiology. Research is my main focus and lab work is my jam. Sitting for hours in front of microscopes is like sitting for hours with a good book.
