Not so much a favourite line, but a favourite part. Without giving away too many spoilers, before Adria's crowning ceremony, she is suddenly overcome with panic at the thought of being a queen. She confides in Eleris, a mother figure of sorts, that she is scared because she doesn't know how to be a queen--most monarchs are groomed for it but she grew up as a farm girl. Eleris gently reminds her that she has been acting as queen for some time already. I think it is a nice moment for Adria because it is the moment she realises she can do this, she did it without even thinking about it.
For the purposes of the book a fire flower is the first thing that grows after a fire has scorched the ground. It signifies new growth, new hope and new life after destruction. In the book the lead character's name means fire flower.
