I read the book Stay True: Short Stories for Strong Girls by Marilyn Singer . Marilyn Singer wasn't the one that wrote all the stories though, she just put a lot of short stories in a book. All the stories are about girls who are supposed to be strong and independent. I would rate this book a three out of five, just because there wasn't anything that stood out to me in the book. The stories weren't particularly great, and some of them just seemed a bit pointless to me. I wasn't completely bored while reading the book, but it wasn't too interesting, either. The topics were a little boring.
