Duckula was awesome, I loved that show. Other than that I can't remember watching a Vampire tv show.

My wife got me hooked on True Blood recently.

I have never had any respect for Meyer, but after reading this, I think she is clearly the idiot and wouldn't know good literature if she was hit in the head with it.

I don't like Twilight or the movies but Ashlee Greene is hot. It would be a shame to loose eye candy like that. As far as what I have seen her in it is just the twilight movies so I can't speak to her skills as an actress. The real tragedy is the poor dog.

I would also have to agree with Rick, It isn't her fault Twilight sucks, can't really be mad at her.

It is ok, it had a really good plot line but it was kind of slow and I found my mind wandering. It wasn't good enough to make me keep reading the trilogy. If you give it a shot I hope you enjoy it more. I am curious to see how the movie is. Like I said it was a good idea for a story.

Update to that, I just checked and Guillermo Del Torro is actually the producer and Director of the Strain coming to TV this year so I am betting that is like the book.

Kind of wonder how they are going to make that for TV, It seemed like it would need an R rating.

It sounds like The Strain, by Guillermo del Toro, but as far as I know it wasn't made into a movie. IMDB shows a short film that sounds like it made in 2007. There is a TV movie coming this year but no description or trailer yet so I am not even sure it is the same thing. Hope that helps, or at least rules out something you were considering.

My name is Chris, I am fan of horror and I like Vampires but I am not as passionate as all of you guys are. I like Vampires and am interested in seeing what you all recommend. I'm here because I am friends with Dan, and I want to support him and the group.

I will admit I hate Twilight, so I am happy to bash a little bit. My wife gets so mad when I call the last book Breaking Wind. She likes the books and the movies but she is by no means a Twi-Hard. I just learned that word here and it is hilarious. So true
