My name is Jade, I am offering author services. If you are looking for someone to beta read your book and give you feedback on it, I’d be happy to help. I haven’t had much experience being a beta reader, but I am an avid reader and I know what makes a book unique. I can provide critical feedback for you.

I am not a grammarian, so I won't edit or point out writing flaws. It must be completely edited before I take it. I will point out inconsistencies, things that don't work, and things that are puzzling.

I don't want to spend a lot of time on a story, so keep it short. I'm a slow and thorough reader. I will NOT take parts of stories, chapters, or beginning stories. I want full stories that have been proofed. I prefer not to take on projects that are too long, but contact me anyway if you have a longer work.

Preferred Genres:
I am open to any genre, but these are the one’s I’ll most likely accept.

Middle Grade: Adventure, Fantasy

Young Adult: Contemporary, Fantasy, Fairy Tale Retellings, LGBTQIA+, Paranormal, Mystery, Science Fiction, Thriller, Horror, Romance, Historical Fiction

New Adult: Contemporary, Fantasy

Adult: Literary Fiction, Historical Fiction, Fantasy, Contemporary, Romance

In your message, briefly outline the following:
A description of your manuscript – what it’s about (without giving too much away, of course), the genre and word count

Which Format you will be sending it to me in, If I were to accept

What you’re looking for in terms of feedback, turnaround time etc.

You also need to provide instructions or guidelines for the kind of feedback you’re looking for. This will help to ensure that you’ll get detailed, specific, useful feedback.

Your guidelines should outline the specific aspects of your manuscript you would like me to focus on.
