Totally agree with Ashley! Now I'm reading a light YA novel 'Elsewhere' by Gabrielle Zevin - a nice change from the dark stuff. Synopsis: "Welcome to Elsewhere. It is warm, with a breeze, and the beaches are marvelous. It’s quiet and peaceful. You can’t get sick or any older. Curious to see new paintings by Picasso? Swing by one of Elsewhere’s museums. Need to talk to someone about your problems? Stop by Marilyn Monroe’s psychiatric practice..."

Loved 11/22/63 and am so looking forward to his next book 'Joyland' coming out this spring! 'Joyland' is supposed to be SCARY though, like early Stephen King books so it may not have the broad appeal that '11/22/63' had!

It's great because if you like the first one then you can look forward to reading the next four books, it's an ongoing saga!

It was good! Except the ending fell flat for me. I also read her book 'Dark Places' and want to read 'Sharp Objects' next!
