I whole heartedly agree with what you are saying, but most religions want you to go along with their doctrine without question, that is exactly why I an Buddhist we are taught to question everything.

Dan ur soo right, Iam now a nichiren buddhist and I feel like it chose me simply because it fit into what I have always believed in and the fact that it does not teach hate. As I tell my son u measure people by their actions not that they r a "Christian or Atheist or anything in between

9634 I am a Buddist and I believe in god but god has given us free will, that is what the Adam and Eve story is about I believe that it attempts to show the theory of cause and effect. I think some people follow religion so they do not have to take responsiblity of their own lives!
