I do struggle with fiction but I have read 100 Years of Solitude a few times and loved it. It’s probably been 15 years since I last read it and several images are still very clear in my mind. Chronicle of a Death Foretold is also very good (and a very quick read).

“The Warmth of Other Suns” by Isabel Wilkerson was very good.
