Really? I'm getting a bit tired of novelists who write one lengthy book and split it into five so that we can pay five times.

I've read The Fault in Our Stars, and I'm currently reading The 5th Wave. I added the rest to my to-read list!
Falling Kingdom is one that I want to read really bad! I went to the Library the other day and picked up Rebel Spring thinking it was the first book of the series, when I found out it was book 2 I was so MAD! lol
Own six, read two.Read:
The Fault in Our Stars
The 5th Wave
TBR:
Fiery Heart
Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea
Champion
Frozen.
Both of the ones I read were AMAZING.
Only one of them on my to read list and none of them read yet. Have added several to my to read pile because they sound so good.

No. I do the same thing.
More than half of the books are on my to-read list, but I'm only (trying) to read The Fault in Our Stars.

I agree. I prefer to read a series from book 1. If I fail to notice I've started a book that is part of a series, my OCD ruins the story for me.
