Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (Harry Potter, #1)

"J.K. Rowling has created a new and unique world within Harry Potter. Not only that, but her ability to foreshadow future events in the smallest ways is something I have enjoyed and aspired too since first reading her works. "

Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister
by
"The first thing that appealed to me in this book was that you were not sure who the narrator was. At the end you find out it was the silent stepsister which gives her character more depth because of it. The second thing I enjoyed was the point of view being someone other than Cinderella. Sure we've read hundreds of stories from her point of view, but what about her stepsisters? Were they really mean and evil or something else? This book shows us how they could have viewed our Cinder Girl. "

The Hunger Games (The Hunger Games, #1)
by
"The world creation of The Hunger Games is only the beginning of the positive elements in this book. The multi-dimentional characters who say one thing, but feel or act in a different way is true to who we are as humans. We don't always do and say the same things. "

A Tale of Two Cities
by
"A classic story with one of the best openings ever written: "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to Heaven, we were all going direct the other way".
Rose
rated it 5 stars
Additionally, there are twists and turns with each person having their own motive and personality. " See Review |

Touch of Frost (Mythos Academy, #1)

Evernight (Evernight, #1)
