So far, the most useful book I’ve read. It’s reminiscent of Fromm’s work, but without the excessive religion and anti-capitalist critique. Plus, it actually gives real advice and practical exercises."

Not bad, but there’s a lot about religion and capitalism. Though that’s expected — it’s Fromm, after all. But there’s little practical value."

Very similar to Fromm’s book, but from a Buddhist perspective. Quite short, with a lot of rather obvious points, though that’s actually a plus. Many ideas made me seriously reflect.

Not bad, it describes patterns of the types, but it lacks the disorganized type and a mention that attachment types are essentially coordinates. There’s a lot of extra content and it’s drawn out."

Not bad, lots of reflections on the institution of marriage, specifically examining the issue of losing passion in relationships, and offering possible solutions. There are many useful ideas, but you have to dig for them. Quite a bit of unnecessary content."

Same story. There are some good ideas, but very, very few. The book is very drawn-out and quite trivial. I just skimmed through it.

I couldn’t bear it and didn’t finish reading. An utterly trivial book, totally “for moms.” I laughed so hard at the practical exercises I was rolling on the floor. Absolutely cringy."
