On all these lists, and for a long long time, the data base ignores the first book choice in the feed

look at your own feed - it picks up on your second choice rather than your first.

In my feed it has picked up on Ibsen(2nd) rather than Chaucer(1st) - and declares I have added but 1 book to this list title.

I just voted on the list 'best books of 20th century' and wanted to add an Iris Murdoch and it says that that book (the severed head) was not published in that century.... lordy lordy

Yeah, the database with publication dates is sometimes way off base. Had that problem with several books I wanted to vote for in the 1930s List.
