"Here's a new one for this list. If you are a fan of meticulous police work, you will love the Silas Lopez Mysteries, of which The Washashore is first. A dogged and meticulous cop determined to do right by victims, Silas Lopez plows through a crime that grows darker and more complex by the day. This wonderful mystery is an absolutely classic example of the crime/mystery/police procedural genre. Gorgeous evocative setting and a heart-warming relationship through line. First of the Silas Lopez Mysteries.
