Not yet, but I've heard great things, so I'm looking forward to checking him out. I have the "Sanatorium Under the Sign of the Hourglass" edition from the old "Other Europe" series, but I'm thinking that I should probably order The Street of Crocodiles and start with that.

Both rule. Witkacy's Insatiability might appeal to you as well. Bruno Schulz is the exact middle of Kafka and Walser IMO - really awesome stuff. Cheers.

Thanks for the tip on Insatiability. I had not come across that author before, but it looks like an amazing book, so I've put in a reserve request for it at the library.
