The Name of the Wind (The Kingkiller Chronicle, #1)
by
"It's amazing. It has a good blend of happy and sad events. It's written in a way that it could be read by either a young adult or an adult and still be enjoyed, and even though some truly terrible things happen in the series the events are related in a professional way without dipping into any unnecessary detail to add shock value. The world building is incredible, and while there is magic of a sort in the world it's created in a believable way. It is the best book/series I have ever read."
