"I actually started it thinking it was historical fiction. But this is pure pornography. Expertly done, dark, mean, the author laughing at you on every page. I was torn between giving it five stars for excellence and one star for the vicious knowing seduction of vice and horror with car wreck deaths appeal. (I didn't see the movie, thus my ignorance)."
