"I'd bought the last HPDH book in a tiny bookstore in a small tourist trap I'd been forced to visit with my parents over the release weekend. I spent all day waiting anxiously to read the last installment of my childhood. It was mid-day by the time I was finally allowed to open the book, and past two AM when I reached the chapter on Harry's fate. Sitting on the bathroom floor, I was in hysterics. I picked myself up off the floor, and carried the book in a vigil-like state out of the bathroom. My mom, who'd just finished watching a movie, saw me and asked in shock, "What on earth's the matter with you?" I gave a watery laugh, realizing how ridiculous I must look, and revealed what I'd just learned.
