The First Rule of Ten (A Tenzing Norbu Mystery, #1)
by
"Brilliantly written by a Hollywood screen writer, Tinker Lindsay, this one is just waiting to be optioned. Producers would be crazy to pass up a guaranteed hit like this. A series of ten novels is planned so material would not be a problem."

Communion: A True Story
by
"The film version with Christopher Walkin was a complete disaster. An intelligent and not tongue-in-cheek version is needed to do justice to this personal memoir of experiences of high strangeness witnessed by numerous other people.

Journey of Souls: Case Studies of Life Between Lives
by
"Actually this would make good material for a documentary - a real one not a de-bunking exercise by someone who is uncomfortable with the material.

The Mephisto Club (Rizzoli & Isles, #6)
by
"Although there is a current series with Gerritsen characters Rizzoli and Isles, this story deserves a mini-series of its own. The subject matter makes it a natural for Halloween.

Artemisia
by
"This extraordinary novel of a woman artist betrayed by her own father would make an excellent dramatic series full of atmosphere (Venice, Florence, etc.) and after the success of The Borgias the time is ripe for this one.

The Raphael Affair (Jonathan Argyll, #1)
by
"The entire set of Iain Pears' art heist-forgery novels would make very entertaining mini-series along the lines of Lovejoy, the antiques 'diviner'. Make the series; the audience will come!

The Skull Mantra (Inspector Shan, #1)
by
"All of Pattison's books Inspector Shan novels could be easily adapted to either TV mini-series, long series or feature films. They are brilliantly written and full of exotic appeal as well a political back story which is probably why no one has made anything of them: don't want to upset China about Tibet...Pity, because the central character is very sympathetic and he is Chinese.

The Woman Who Lived in a Prologue
by
"This is an extraordinary book written by a woman of about 60. It is funny, poignant, and unique. It would make a very interesting tv movie for someone like Susan Sarandon or Meryl Streep.

The Forest of Hours
by
"This is a gem of a story. The main character is a Troll but he is anything but the usual fare found in children's stories or even traditional folktales. Intelligent, witty, and with a brilliant premise this book would make a stunning film or mini-series. Read it and you'll never think of Trolls as ogres again.
