"This book has the character of Alynna's (the heorine's) adopted son, Nicholas. Kid has charisma, he's also got second sight and the heroine of this book is his protector and though not his real mom, an amazing person to protect the child from a time in society where he would probably not survive very long if his second sight came out in the open. Also...he's got so much going on, Lana Williams has chosen to write her second book about him--all grown up. Love it
