I am thrilled with some of the books recently about people with physical difficulties (Out of My Mind being another great one). But this one is INCREDIBLE!! Why isn't this on the awards lists yet! Auggie has great 'facial anomolies' that create tremendous challenges for him. I thought the book would be entirely from his point of view. It's not and that makes is so much more powerful. If you don't come out wanting to be a kinder person at the end of this book, you need to read it again...this time being a little more honest with yourself. At the very least, identify with Via."
