Thom, this is a great idea for a list, and I do appreciate your invitation(s) to vote on it, but as I recently said in the comments section of Lobstergirl's list for The Last 10 Nonfiction Books I Read, I have very little time to read at the moment, so even having 2 or 3 books going actively at the same time means my overall progress is being slowed down considerably ... for which reason I try very hard NOT to let that happen, at least not for any length of time, let alone having even more books lying around. (Begun and half-read, at any rate -- yet to be begun is a different matter of course!) So I don't think it would be fair for me to vote here. But thank you again for inviting me to do so!
