Undress Me in the Temple of Heaven
by
"this is the most amazing book I've ever read and the fact that every word of it is true is even more amazing. Having gone to China myself I could sort of relate, but not exactly considering she went to China back when it was China's republice of people. amazing couldn't put it down. It was funny, sad, shocking, and at times there weren't even words for the things I felt."

Hopeless (Hopeless, #1)
by
"I would never intentionally read a YA romance novel. I don't do chik lit ever especially not YA chik lit. This novel though had a thought provoking depth from the very first page. A lot of the things that the main character went through in this book I could relate too. I read this book in a couple hours and by the end I was so upset it was over! I finished this book about 4 weeks ago, and I still think about it all the time. "

The Night Circus
by
"This book has that fairytale magic feeling with an adult twist.I never wanted this novel to end. The writing was AMAZING. I must have highlighted over half of this book on my e-reader. It made me feel nostalgic of the magic and fairytales I believed in as a child."

The Perks of Being a Wallflower
by
"The Perks of Being a Wallflower made me feel just as good as the first time I watched Garden State... and then I read the last letter of the last page of the last paagraph and bawled my eyes out! There's something to be said about an author who can make you feel so incredibly happy and warm in the entire book only to bring you to the reality of the effect past events can have on you/"

A Clockwork Orange
by
"Everyone should read this book at least once. I read it a couple times a year and every single time I get something different out of it. Human nature is fascinating and this book delves into the ugliest pasrt of it with a stunning conclusion."

Brave New World
by
"I pretended I read this book when it was required in my AP English class, but I didn't even read a single page. I thought all books required in school were a complete waste of time. It turns out I was wrong with this book. I'm a huge dystopia fan and this the mother of all dystopias!"

Dry
by
"Augusten Burrows is one of my favorite authors. He has been through so much and each one of his books widen my perspective a little bit more. Dry is about his Alcholic phase and how he overcame it. I highlighted every other sentence of this book."

The Silver Linings Playbook

"I learned so much about myself while reading this book. While the character learned to let go of his ex wife I slowly felt myself wanting to let go of my baggage!"

"Very rarely can a book of thi nature shock me to my core, but it did. I find myself thinking about it all the time even though I read it almost a year ago."

Fight Club
by
"Fight Club is one of those mind altering reads that come along once every five years. The characters in this book have haunted me since the first time I embarked on this reading journey. Very few books have gotten me fired up and ready to take on the world like this one."

Life of Pi
by
"Life of Pi was beautifully written. Through the entire book you take it at face value wondering where this is going or if it even has a point. The ending of the book is one I will never forget it says a lot about human nature and the truths we choose to believe in order to cope. "

Feed
by
"Feed reminded me of a more updated version of A clockwork Orange. The idea that technology has become so much a part of this generations DNA leads me to believe that we aren't to far off from this reality. "

Paper Towns
by
"I read this book on an extremely long flight to Africa, which may have been a mistake because I was constantly disrupting the people around my by laughing out loud every other page. If this book were a person it would be a wild free spirit with a dark side. It wasn't only a fun read, it was a thought provoking read. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone I know. "
