Les Scared the crap out of me...I have no desire to watch things like Texas Chainsaw Massacre or Friday the 13th Part 27. Nothing but gore. The Exorcist actually had a (creepy) plot. Same for The Omen and The Boys from Brazil. When we lived in Richmond Va when I was 13-15 I used to do alot of babysitting. They had the "Bowman Body Show" on Saturday nights at 10; the host dressed like Alice Cooper and showed everything from Dracula and Frankenstein to Grade B 1950s horror movies. The kids were always asleep and the parents weren't home yet. Much rather watch those than modern gorefests.

I would not watch those either: Texas Chainsaw Massacre or Friday the 13th. I don't care for gore. I used to think I was a horror fan but then I got on Lady Danielle's group and discovered that I am not really. I guess I got the idea I was because I like Edgar Allan Poe. My husband always watched those too. I have only seen a few of them. He used to really like the stuff Elvira Mistress of the Night stuff. We used to rent lots of werewolf movies but some of those tended to be too gory.
