"It is such a great teen novel and I have been DYING for a movie to come out since I read it, withing a year of it coming out. I have been waiting for a movie, participated in so many votes/discussions of who the best actors would be etc. It would be a tough movie to make because the effects would NEED to be good, but if whoever makes it spends the proper time it would be GREAT!"

"I read this book, like so many others, for school, but I actually enjoyed it alot. It would be an interesting movie-probably very different from how my minds eye views it- but I really think that a movie adaptation would be really cool in some classrooms. "

"Eragon shouldn't have been made into a movie. Whoever did it didn't know what they were doing and they butchered it. But I can see how great Eldest (or a redo of Eragon) could be if someone took the time to do it properly. This is one of the books that as I read I see it happening. Every step of the way I imagine what is going on- every character has a very distinct face, some scenes are so concrete it's like I've seen a movie. But I haven't. Because of that I might now enjoy a movie quite as much as I should, but it would still be great to see someone else's perspective."
