Madam, Will You Talk is one of my all-time favorites. Great suspense.

Yes I agree! So far, 'Madam, Will You Talk' is my favorite Mary Stewart book.

She makes you feel like you are IN the south of France. The book is nowhere near as dark as the descriptions make it sound, but there is suspense and romance.
I loved it because it had that old 50s movie feel to it. I could just imagine it playing out on the screen. :D
