Words of Radiance (The Stormlight Archive, #2)
by
"The first book is so brilliant that I've gone back to the story again and again. I love all the extra chapters that give a further glimpse into a vast and detailed world, showing us that we've only scratched the surface. I can't wait to explore it further."

Sworn in Steel (Tales of the Kin, #2)
by
"I just loved 'Among thieves'. The characters didn't always do the moral or the smart thing, but you couldn't help but love them all the same. They were brilliantly flawed. The story was intresting and well delivered. There were many hints, during Drothe's story, that there was more going on in the world than met the eye.
I've had this book on high priority on my wishlist for over 2 years and I still can't wait to read it!" |

The Crimson Campaign (Powder Mage, #2)
by
"This is a newer addition to my 'to read' list and I blame Brent Weeks entirely for posting about this series on twitter. The mix of guns and magic has never been pulled off so well. There's a rich history to the world and characters that keeps you intrested and puzzling it over, in a good way, long after the first book has ended. "

The Broken Eye (Lightbringer, #3)

"I'm a massive Brent Weeks fan and have been for some time. There hasn't been a book by Brent Weeks that I haven't eagerly awaited reading. "

Prince of Fools (The Red Queen's War, #1)
by
"Mark Lawerence is a brilliant writer. He has a way with the imagery of words that most authors should envy. The broken empire was both darkly beautiful and unapologetically brutal. Mark doesn't sugarcoat nor apologise for his characters and that adds a raw reality to his works of fantasy. I can't wait to see what this new series has to offer."
