"If I didn't know the author and trust her to write a smashing tale, I would have voted for this one sheerly for the lack of underclad females (and males, for that matter) on the cover and the fact that the title is totally (refreshingly) free from trashy-sexual flair. Also, if I didn't know aforehand that this book was not on this list, I might not have touched said list with a ten foot pole. Behold my dedication to worthy causes. "
