Yes to FITA & I am Legend. The Will Smith movie of I am legend was criminal! I saw the movie Children of Men but haven't read the book yet to compare.

I actually like the Movie better than the book but I was very suprised when I actually got around to reading it. They changed the entire plot. Just kept the one man with monsters bit.

That was my problem with the movie. The entire premise was changed. I especially disliked how the woman in the movie was good while in the book she betrays Neville leading to his destruction. I thought the book had such a powerful & unique ending painting Neville as the legend of terror of the Vamps....while the movie went with a sappy Hollywood ending. The movie even changed the location of the book from L.A. to NYC, lol
