Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (Harry Potter, #1)
by
"It's a wonderful story for any age and a book that will truly never die. If you don't know what this series is and you've never heard of it, you might want to consider changing your name to Patrick Star because you must be living under a rock."

To Kill a Mockingbird
by
"They may make you read this in school, and you might not like it at the time because you have to read it, I certainly didn't like it when I had to read it Freshman year of high school. Now though, after reading it a second time, it truly is everything that your teachers and other people say about it. It's a wonderful story where you have to work really hard to get to where you want to go."

The Outsiders
by
"I had to read this in eighth grade, and the synopsis and cover don't do it any justice. The movie is good, with one of the most gorgeous casts ever if I may add. The story starts out a little boring, but I promise you that if you keep reading, you aren't going to want to put it down until you've read the very last page."

Looking for Alaska
by
"John Green's first book, and the fact I prefer this over his newest novel TFIOS, is quite astonishing to say the least. The whole entire time you'll keep wondering and getting excited to see what the end of the book brings, what we are counting down to, but it's miserable and awful, but amazing because you realize how John writes to keep you wanting more. You'll feel like he has betrayed you in a way, but in a good way."

Speak
by
"Hands down the best book I've ever been assigned to read. I had to read this twice while in school because I moved in between, but it was worth a second read, and a third, and a fourth. It's an outstanding story that I will always love, and you might too."
