Dude, everyone HATES "The Scarlet Letter"! When I had to read it for school, everybody hated it too, and I loved it! I never had to read "Tale of Two Cities" or "Ethan Frome," but man, I hate "Of Mice and Men." HATE. I've yet to meet an author who can do mentally handicapped without it being melodramatic or making the audience cry.

I liked The Scarlet Letter fine, a little dull but it was only like 14 pages long so I don't get why people are complaining. And at least there was a plot. But Ethan Fucking Frome, omg! That book was about nothing! NOTHING!! I've never read Of Mice and Men, my sister hated it and told me to avoid it.
