I adore Jeph Loeb's writing but despise Tim Sale's artwork. So, that keeps "Long Halloween", "Dark Victory", "Catwoman: While in Rome", & "Haunted Knight" from making any "Best List" in my book. :( Sad, I know. But his villains are anything but scary.

Only in passing. I have flipped through things that he has illustrated ("Black Mirror", "GA: Year One", "Batwoman" "Losers".) Will get more acquainted with it once I gt my hands on "Batman Vol 3" as I think that he is credited with some of it.
