The Second Mrs. Darcy (Darcy #4)
by
"This is what I like to call "P&P-esque". It isn't about the characters from the original, but it's very much written in the tone, style and form of P&P. The main character - Octavia - is a fantastic Austen-like heroine. I know this is heretical, but I kind of liked her even better than Elizabeth Bennet - and Lizzy is one of my favourite characters EVER!! This is a great story!!"

Mr. Darcy Takes a Wife: Pride and Prejudice Continues (Darcy & Elizabeth, #1)
by
"This one has some sex - which isn't exactly regency-era appropriate but it was still a great read and kind of fun to know Darcy and Lizzy REALLY loved each other!” "

Letters from Pemberley: The First Year
by
"This was a unique approach - the entire book is a series of letters between Elizabeth and sister Jane, in which they share their lives and what's going on with both of them. It's different, but it really works and is well-written enough that you can follow along and really get inside the sisters' lives."

Jane and the Unpleasantness at Scargrave Manor (Jane Austen Mysteries, #1)
by
"This is the first in a series that casts Jane Austen herself as the star. Fiction but using actual people, places and events from Austen's life are peppered into the stories, and they are written in the P&P style. Really enjoyable! Also, there's a whole series for those who enjoy this first book."

The Lost Memoirs of Jane Austen: A Delightfully Possible Historical Romance of Love and Literary Inspiration
by
"Not really a P&P sequel, as it's a "how it COULD have happened" vision of Jane's Journal, but it is such a wonderful view of Jane's life and times that it deserves a place on a list like this. Combining real people, places and events from Jane's life with fictionalized elements, it's a wonderful story and a delightful presentation of a beloved author. A "must read" for those who are as interested in Jane Austen as in her characters!! "

Death Comes to Pemberley
by
"I'd never read anything by this well-known mystery author previously, but I thought she did a terrific job dropping Darcy and Lizzie into a mystery to solve. A great combo of murder mystery with our favourite characters."

"This was okay. Not fantastic, but a decent effort if you're running out of P&P-ish books to read."

Shades of Milk and Honey (Glamourist Histories, #1)
by
"This is more P&P-esque, than a sequel. Unique characters, but a great representation of the social structure of the time. I absolutely LOVE this series [there are five books]."
