BTW, I do rather wish I had taken your advice and read Bjørneboe before Min kamp. There are numerous references, and I suspect that Bestialitetens historie may even be the "theme book" for the fourth volume.

Oh, I know, I was just using it as an opportunity to nag a bit more to get you to read it. :)

That's interesting; I wasn't aware. That makes me curious about reading Min Kamp as well.

You will simply not believe the number of books and authors referenced - especially Norwegian authors. I'm ashamed to admit that I didn't even recognize most of their names, though I am rapidly becoming better educated.
