"The people making this list must be joking if they think Stephen King is on a par with Edgar Allan Poe. I don't think even King himself would say so, and in fact I've actually read something where he said that the guy who wrote Rosemary's Baby make the rest of horror writers look like novices. That's the one thing I've always liked about Stephen King, and yes I know I have unusual priorities. Certainly hardly anyone places a value on modesty THESE days, but I refuse to go there with them and still value a modicum of modesty.
