It really is an excellent book. I wish I could get more of my students to read it. They're just so intimidated by its size.

My 12yo son really liked it - read it twice - and then said, "I liked it because I could tell it was written with love." O.o VERY uncharacteristic for him - usually I get a "It was good" when I ask him why he liked something. And I have a few Ryan fans at school, but I haven't been able to sell anyone on this one either. I think the AR quiz came out too close to the end of the year. Better luck next year!
