The sad part if I think the author meant for the lead character to be sympathetic and endearing, but she missed the mark."

"This is Jodi Picoult's first and worst novel. I couldn't find anything I liked about any of the characters, and the story was far-fetched and unbelievable. She tried to be creative with the writing style which I appreciated at first for it's originality, but it ended up being confusing without adding anything to the story. The only thing I ended up liking about this book was the title."
