"The Lord of the Rings books are absolutely horrific compared to the movies. The books rambled on and on too much about small, insignificant things. The story was often hidden behind the author's everlasting descriptions of things. The author would spend pages just describing a place and it would annoy me like I have never been annoyed with a book. I felt like I was reading a book that talked about how trees, rivers, etc looked instead of this epic adventure."
