How is about, all of his individual works? Doorways in the Sand, Roadmarks, and some of his short stories are brilliant.

Agreed. His works are uniformly brilliant, and still relevant to this day. (Which reminds me I still need to shelf stuff!!)

But Amber, October, and LoL are the pinnacle of his writings for me. (October especially, which is MIND-BLOWINGLY awesome!)
