I wish they still had reruns of Dobie Gillis. This should be a hilarious book to read.

I used to find the TV show on YouTube, though it and the book are much different. I've read a lot of Shulman and none of it quite matches the utter glee that book gives me. ("Barefoot Boy with Cheek" comes close, though.) One of the stories in the collection, "Love is a Fallacy", can be found below:

Every story in it has a different Dobie -- sometimes he's a law student, sometimes an historian, sometimes a chemist -- but he's utterly sure of himself in EVERY one, with hilarity ensuing.

I've got to read this now, nothing like a good laugh during the winter months.
