"Really explores this, the beautiful & the ugly of it. Can't miss the imagry and beauty of how the "be yourself/follow your heart" concept is represented with these twin characters. Not something to miss. It takes on a more uncomfortable/adult exploration of this theme (and the moral dilemmas) in the latter part of the book when dealing with the mother's love affair. Some might take away "anything is justified if you are following your heart," and some may come away with a more complex view, seeing the messiness of how this plays out in human interactions...in life.
