Its a funny rating, because all of Bukowski's books really feel the same. Perhaps Tales of Ordinary Madness is the most diverse...but this Ham on Rye I remember looking askance at after reading, and finding it slightly more amusing than the other books.People really miss that Bukowski is a comedic writer. He is unflustered, unconcerned, a comic hero really.
